As a part of our professional activities we often come across bold people and businesses that want to go their own way and start their operations in a more remote place or even in the Vietnamese countryside. And it is important to underline that for the most adventurous businessmen the language barrier between them and their Vietnamese partners/authorities is the lesser problem when they want to establish their business far from the Vietnamese business and production centers. Indeed the lack of knowledge and understanding about local particularities is the main difficulty to overcome for people that just arrived in one the more remote provinces of Vietnam.

One should remember that each province of Vietnam has its own functioning adapted to its own particularities in terms of legal regulations, as the local administration, even if it is bound to abide by the Central Government's authority and abide by Vietnam Laws, can issue its own legal regulations applicable only on the territory of the province. Commonly those local regulations are issued in Vietnamese by the local State Bodies, and sometimes are difficult to find, hence the importance of having a partner that has broad knowledge about local regulations.
