In the tradition of Viet Australia Auditing (VAAL), the annual company trip often takes place on the company anniversary, which falls on October 20th. Celebrating the 16th anniversary, under the theme “WE ARE ONE,” daring to dream, facing challenges without fear, and affirming courage, the members of VAAL created unforgettable memories during a 2-day trip at Minera Binh Chau Resort in Ba Ria – Vung Tau on October 20-21, 2023.

 

It can be said that this is the first year the company's trip only included the company's members, and as such, everyone contributed to making this trip a distinctly VAAL experience.

We arrived in Binh Chau on a beautiful sunny day, despite the heavy rain in Saigon the night before due to the influence of a storm in the regions. Dividing into four teams to ensure equal numbers, the teams embarked on a journey to conquer the challenges of Age 16 of VAAL. Three stations, named DREAM, CHALLENGE, and COURAGE, provided the members with exciting experiences.

 

At the DREAM station, teams were tasked with creating a photo set with the theme “Age 16.” From this requirement, the members captured timeless photos together, whether eating ice cream, picking flowers, catching butterflies, playing on swings, playing hide and seek, or posing with the number 16, they all brought everyone back to the age of 16 with endless laughter.

The CHALLENGE station required teams to work together to find a hidden message deep in the forest. The challenges set by the organizers hardly posed a difficulty to any team; despite the sweat, everyone enjoyed these experiences. The message of this station was for teams to create birthday message videos for VAAL, to be shared during the Gala Dinner.

After completing the DREAM and CHALLENGE stations, all teams reached the final station called COURAGE. To pass this challenge, teams had to boil eggs and decorate them using provided items like vegetables or plates, all while presenting their ideas. The egg boiling area was filled with continuous laughter due to the silliness and limitless creativity of the teams.

During the Gala Dinner, Mr. Pham Quoc Hai, the CEO of VAAL, gave an opening speech: “In this period, we face economic challenges and crises with many difficulties. However, I believe that together, each of us can contribute our efforts to help VAAL overcome these challenges. The slogan WE ARE ONE that we chose for this trip also reflects our unity and love for VAAL, our common home.”

The Gala Dinner celebrated the 16th birthday of Viet Australia Auditing Company and the birthdays of members born in October. Throughout the program, everyone enjoyed delicious meals prepared by the chefs at Minera Resort, making the party even more exciting.

The atmosphere was filled with joy during the dinner, with dance and song performances and enthusiastic group games, giving all present members a full night of fun. The special gameshow added unique and enjoyable moments to the event for the attendees.

The next day, everyone took a moment to relax and enjoy the amenities at the resort, such as mineral baths, onsen, and saunas, before getting back on the bus to return to Saigon and their daily lives. Although the journey has ended, the values of bonding that it brought will continue. At age 16—WE ARE ONE—it is hoped that VAAL's upcoming journey will always receive the united effort of all members to further develop Viet Australia.
